Apple’s iPhone 6s battery life

iPhone 6s battery life

What is iPhone’s battery life problem?

It’s something that many Apple’s customers know very well. Why battery life on my iPhone or iPod is so short and moreover why my devices shutdown so easily? iPhone’s battery life troubles have not been solved through the new upgrades from Cuprtino, on the contrary it seems  that nothing has changed and many things have gone even worse. The new version of Apple’s software 11.3 is attended from users to know if Apple will respect its promises. There have always been a bond of trust among Apple and its customers: Apple makes the best for you and we know what is the best for you. But the last iPhone’s battery life performances seem to go in the opposite directions. We will see what is going to happen with new version of the upgrade: iOS 11.3.

Do users think that battery life is too short?

Yes indeed! There are several complaints among users on the web with regard to iPhone’s battery life and the problem comes out each time a new upgrade is released by Apple, warmly suggested by Cupertino to solve and improve battery life and iPhone’s performances too. Surfing on the net we have different point of views, linked together by many complaints about iPhone’s battery life. In the official Apple support’s page we have sentences like this: “my device now (after iOS 11 upgrade) only has like 60% of the battery life it had before.” or “After updating (at iOS 11.03) i was realized that battery was drained too fast” and “battery life literally falls in front of your eyes during use.” “Same with my iPhone 6. My problem (battery life) actually started with the previous update but hasn’t improved with 11.03 update.”

However the bigger problem deals with Apple’s lack of communication. An ineffective relationship among the factory and its customers. Apple does it better than the others but what it happens when such a promise doesn’t work any more? So if iPhone’ battery life is a tech problem which is very often linked to theory conspiracy about planned obsolescence, communication should be more accurate by Apple to make users feel part of the solution instead of suggesting new upgrade versions that don’t solve the problems.

How did Apple manage the problem?

There are many sites offering you the best solutions to solve your iPhone 6s battery life problems and some of them honestly sayIf you’re suffering poorer than normal battery life, take solace in the fact that you are far from alone.” That’s not a solution of course but it makes us feel part of a bigger community of people with the same problem. However such an answer does not feel me better when I realize that my iPhone’s battery life literally falls in front of my eyes during use. Apple tried to solve the problems releasing new iOS upgrades that include bug fixes and improvements. As regard to battery life till now not so many relevant improvements have been done but something has been done.

The so called 30% battery bug was solved through iOS 10 as many customers reported a shutdown of their iPhone, especially iPhone 6s, with 30% battery left. The terrible battery life performances on iOS 11 was solved with the release of iOS 11.1. Apple has always tried to minimize these problems suggesting its users to upgrade their iPhones with the latest iOS release even if iPhone’s battery life is still a topic subject as regard to user’s complaints.

What are Apple’s solutions about iPhone 6s battery life?

The replacement of your old battery can really improve your iPhone’s  “returning performance and CPU clock speeds back to normal.” (Theverge.com). Apple should be more open minded with such a possibility encouraging its customers to do that. Otherwise the bond trust among Apple ans its customers could come less. Customers could have the perception that Apple want them only to buy new smartphones and that’s it. So there is a little bit of opacity in Apple’s communication with its customers but as regard iPhone’s battery life problems they could finish next Spring with iOS 11.3. it seems to be released to improve and manage all the problems that till now customers have experienced about battery life. As reported in the official Apple previews iOS 11.3 page the new version is expected to have “features to show battery health and recommend if a battery needs to be serviced.” Many hopes are places in the new version especially for those who have experienced that on their iPhone’s battery life was too short.

If Apple will succeed in getting such a goal we are sure that Steve Job’s creature will work seamlessly once again.
